  imagine the best case scenario.

  the watchtower society implodes from within even making final printed admissions that it is voluntarily dismantling it's mission and legally dissolving the corporations.

  these people just love instiling guilt on these poor souls.. .

  at a recent circuit assembly a circuit overseer gave an awesome talk during the portion, 'giving attention to the needs of the circuit.

  and with such a high pricetag, please don't let it be empty.

  although i have seen many things in the wt literature that have astounded me.......these are some of the things i have never come across.

  i read them last night in a book i am reading : - "awakening of a jehovah's witness" by diane wilson.

  First Thessalonians - some thoughts to share

  in just this one letter, i found some very interesting thoughts.

  in the context of those who are jehovah's witnesses and claim that their religion is modeled after first-century christianity, i think we are faced with a few questions and some real food for thought.

  let's get right into it.. the first thing i notice, in having read all 5 chapters, is the significant near-absence of the name jehovah.

Don't worry, yours are not near as long as other ones on here recently. Do your research and write your conclusions. Maybe some will benefit from your example and remember they are not writing a novel, or the latest issue of the watchtower. Thanks

  What's the logic behind 'Quick-build' KHs?

  By doing it quickly, it is done fast so there are less headaches with a project that drags on for months, burning up massive amounts of manpower. Also, you don't have the problem of building materials going up by 5-15% for lumber, plumbing and electric supplies. That could really cut into the budget if the construction drags on.

  i have a jw friend who's done somethings with his jw girlfriend in the porneia category.

  not intercourse though.. he wants to go to the elders and confess.

  i'm not sure of his reasons why, i mean he sees the bs of the cult.

  Also an issue that will come up is how many times they engaged in these actions. Just once can be overlooked and private reproof. If they occured several times their actions show they were not repentant because they did not confess to the almighty elders after the first occasion. And questions in graphic details will be asked, be ready for any question imaginable from these old guys who have to live their sex life through people they are going to punish. They truly are perverts, but make it all look righteous.

  i wonder if everyone here who has kept up with me since i left jw's realize why i have been coming on here.

  it certainly has been cool to know that some of my experiences and opinions have helped some.

  i hope they know that i have been equally helped by others.. i come here primarily for me.
